Overview of BM Series Bauer Gear Motor
Bauer geared motors have been used in material handling for over 20 years to drive overhead monorail conveyors. The BM geared motor is the ideal solution for floor conveyors. The clutch lever is always on the “L” side of the geared motor, the side opposite the motor. This allows the geared motor to be designed with output shafts on both sides, which also allows it to be used as a drive for floor conveyors.
Operate reliably even in hostile environments
The drives are provided with IP65 protection as standard. This is a great advantage when operating in dusty environments.
Low-noise operation
The noise emitted by a two-ratio gear motor is lower than that of a three-ratio motor with the same ratio. First gear, the main source of noise, has a smaller diameter than three-ratio models.
Low operating costs
BM09 gear motor size in load range approx. The 2000 kg has a worm gear for the first ratio and a spur gear for the second ratio. Specially developed worm gears with very low ratios provide very high efficiency, similar to bevel gear transmissions.
