Butterfly valve BF 32 PIETRO FIORENTINI Vietnam

Introducing Butterfly Valve BF 32 PIETRO FIORENTINI Vietnam

The BF 32 butterfly valve   is a blocking device that can ensure low pressure loss. It can also be used to block liquids where tight sealing, low pressure loss and compact structure in the flow direction are required.

Suitable for use with natural gas and pre-filtered non-corrosive gases, it is mainly used in medium and low pressure gas distribution networks.

For the Pietro Fiorentini Group, valves are manufactured by  TIV Valves , a Group company specialized in valve manufacturing based in Rescaldina (MI).

Features of Butterfly Valve BF 32 PIETRO FIORENTINI Vietnam

  • Design pressure: up to 19 bar (ANSI 150)
  • Design temperature: from -10 °C to +150 °C (VITON), from -10 °C to +100 °C (NITRILE)
  • Nominal size: up to 24"
  • Flanges: ANSI 150 according to ASME B16.5 and PN 16 according to EN 1092
  • End to end dimensions: according to UNI 11354, ISO 5752, MSSSP 67, BS 5155-74

Technical specifications BF 32 PIETRO FIORENTINI Vietnam

Structure of Butterfly Valve BF 32 PIETRO FIORENTINI Vietnam

Valve body: The outermost part of the valve, usually made from materials such as cast iron, steel, or plastic, to help protect the internal components.

Valve Disc: The main part that opens or closes the flow. This disc can be made of stainless steel, cast iron, or plastic, depending on the specific application.

Valve stem (Stem): Connects the valve disc to the control part (handle or actuator), allowing adjustment of the valve disc position.

Seat: Usually made of rubber, PTFE or other heat-resistant materials, helps ensure a seal between the valve disc and the valve body when the valve is closed.

Actuator: Can be a lever, handwheel or electric/pneumatic actuator, used to adjust the position of the valve disc.
