This indicates a vibrator and signal conditioner packaged in a single package designed to provide many years of reliable service. The ST5491E is the ideal solution for sensing vibration on most factory equipment. A simple two-wire loop signal proportional to velocity is generated for transmission to a programmable logic controller (PLC), distributed control system (DCS), or other 4-20 mA input devices. Simply attach the transmitter to the housing, connect the 2-wire loop, and read and/or record vibration. Each transmitter is manufactured the way you want it: one of 3 electrical connections, epoxy or sealed, mounting pins, frequency range, full-scale output and certification level.
