Introducing MA8172B

Supports OTA 5G NR environments using 3GPP compliant CATR methodology.

It also supports two AoA RRM tests to evaluate UE communication quality and connection stability during handover between base stations.

The Compact Antenna Reflector Test Chamber (CATR) 2 MA8172B uses the CATR method defined by 3GPP to deploy 5G New Radio (NR) over-the-air (OTA) trials in a small space.

CATR Anechoic Chamber 2 also supports tests with the MA8172A and supports 2 AoA RRM tests to evaluate UE communication quality and connection stability during handover between base stations.

• Transport is easy with division into three component parts, shortening initial setup time

• Supports FR2 temperature testing (temperature under extreme conditions: –10°C to +55°C)
