^{Proton Products InteliSENS ®} LN Series 2- and 3- axis Neck and Tumor Detectors    provide superior product quality monitoring.

The InteliSENS  ^®   LN series uses LED light sources, high-speed digital signal processing (DSP) and specialized optical design technology to inspect, warn and report Surface Quality Defects (SQD) when they happen, reduce customer complaints and enhance your reputation for product supplier quality.

The LED constant light source illuminates the perimeter of the product and any changes in the surface are immediately detected by a photodiode photoreceiver that reports the height, length and position of indentations and necks along and around the product.

Extremely easy to install, integrate and operate, the InteliSENS  ^®   LN series neck and tumor detector can be used as a standalone device or integrated with a production line PLC.

Optional audio/visual alarm devices, error ticket printers, and data logging PC software are available to support any InteliSENS  ^{® LN series model to close the Quality Control loop.}

Applications include manufacturing processes such as wire drawing, braiding, cable insulation and wrapping, rewinding and coiling, rubber and plastic extrusion processes to produce pipes, tubes and pipes.

^{Proton Products InteliSENS ®} LN Series Lumbar and Neck Detectors    use an LED light source to illuminate the perimeter of the cable being inspected. Light not obscured by the cable is focused on the high-speed photo detector. The custom FPGA processor detects and records any sudden changes in light detected due to neck defects or lumps in the cable insulation. This signal processing is performed 100,000 times a second to ensure that even the smallest errors are detected at the highest line speeds.

^{Proton Products InteliSENS ®} LN Series Neck and Tumor Detectors  are available in 2- and 3-axis models (InteliSENS ^® LN2030 and LN3030   , respectively    ). While the 2-axis LN2030 model is suitable for low-cost or non-critical applications, the 3-axis LN3030 model offers significantly improved detection probability for even the smallest flaws.
