S820E Microwave Site Master Handheld Cable and Antenna Analyzer Handheld cable and antenna analyzer Anritsu VietNam

Introducing S820E Microwave Site Master Handheld Cable and Antenna Analyzer Handheld cable and antenna analyzer Anritsu VietNam

Delivers desktop microwave performance in a compact, handheld package, available with Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) and Vector Voltmeter (VVM) options

The Site Master S820E Microwave series, with frequency options including 1 MHz — 8, 14, 20, 30 and 40 GHz, is the world's most advanced Site Master series ever developed. Available Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) and Vector Voltmeter (VVM) options allow users to easily expand the flexibility of the S820E at any time. Adding options to the S820E is not complicated, simply purchase the desired option(s) and install the optional activation key(s) provided by Anritsu. There's no need to send the device in for service because all necessary hardware and calibration are built into the S820E before it leaves the factory.

The S820E is the best value handheld microwave analyzer in its class, offering more standard measurement capabilities than any other similar product on the market today. Now including standard Video Probe (VIP) Mode (firmware version V1.17 and above), users can now verify fiber optic connectors and perform Pass/Fail testing according to IEC 61300-3-35, in addition to traditional coaxial/waveguide measurements are supported by the S820E. All that is needed to test fiber optic connector ends is an Anritsu-compatible USB Video Test Probe (sold separately), such as the G0306A 400x USB VIP. VIP results can be saved as image files, measurement files, or converted to pdf reports directly from the device itself. Measurement files obtained with the S820E VIP Mode are fully compatible with Anritsu's wired optical test products such as the award-winning MT1000A Network Master Pro, MT1100A Network Master Flex and the MT9000 OTDR product line.

VNA mode provides fully reversible scanning, the ability to simultaneously measure 4 S parameters with a user configurable 4-way display. Create S2P files in industry-standard compatible formats (3 S2P file types available). S2P files can be imported into Anritsu desktop VNAs (VectorStar™ and ShockLine™) for easy comparison between field and laboratory measurements.

VVM mode with A/B and B/A Ratio capabilities allows the S820E to be used as a backup replacement for an older Vector Voltmeter. VVM mode also directly supports Reflection/Transmission measurements, eliminating the need for an external CW source and external couplers, bridges or splitters. Vector error correction can be applied to Reflective or Transmitted measurements, providing absolute measurement data for the DUT, as well as compensating for any cables, transducers or fixtures that may be required to Connect directly to DUT. Multiple measurement display modes are available to facilitate easy comparison with other common measurement types, and the handy Panel Display allows simultaneous measurement of up to 12 DUTs and 1 reference, extremely useful for Adjusting the multi-array antenna system. Industry-leading dynamic range delivers excellent measurement stability and repeatability where high system losses are inevitable, making it ideal for critical slip slope installation and verification important.

Uses the same advanced sampling technology used in our premium VectorStar™ VNA and newest ShockLine™ VNA models. The S820E delivers desktop microwave performance in a compact, handheld device. Today, no other handheld vector/microwave cable & antenna network analyzer can match the dynamic range performance of the S820E models. With a dynamic range of 110 dB up to 40 GHz, the S820E even surpasses the performance of VNA's older generation desktop machines. Modern connectivity options (USB, Ethernet) are standard as is full remote control capability.

The S820E replaces the previous S810D/S820D microwave cable and antenna analyzers and provides all the functionality of those models and more. The S820E also includes “Classic Mode” that allows previous users of the S8X0D series to be productive immediately without much additional effort.

The integrated help menu makes it easy to access help and also includes a full device manual.

2-port and transmission scan cable loss measurements using external USB sensors allow users to accurately measure loss in long cables and waveguide assemblies where each end of the assembly is far apart. The sensor can be extended up to 85 m (278 ft) using the Anritsu USB Extender (2000-1717-R) and a suitable length Cat 6 UTP cable. Anritsu offers 22.5m Cat 5e cable (2100-28-R) to meet most application requirements.

Patented RF interference cancellation allows accurate measurements in the presence of high RF activity. Supports both coaxial and waveguide measurements.

Designed from the ground up to deliver outstanding performance, the internal architecture is a 4-receiver fully inverted 2-port vector network analyzer. This architecture allows for future upgrade options that further expand the device's powerful capabilities, securing your investment for years to come.

Line Sweep Tools (LST) is a free data analysis software utility that allows assessment of trends, problems, and system performance in addition to generating professional reports.

Compatible with the Smart Aligner Android app to generate end-of-site reports including antenna alignment results from the Multiwave tool and line scan results.
